Black Panther should have been included in Marvel’s Avengers from the day one. Rather, he’s a DLC character whose announcement was postponed last year due to actor Chadwick Boseman’s unfortunate demise.
During today’s Square Enix Presents stream Black Panther was eventually announced, coming to the game later this year in the “War for Wakanda” development.
Though there aren’t many features on what the “War for Wakanda” development entails, the brief trailer that presented features communication between the leader of A.I.M. and Black Panther villain Klaw, implying full-scale attact and aggression of Wakanda is in the works.
And now Avengers professionals have something to look forward to once today’s next-gen upgrades and Hawkeye update get old in about a week or so.
