Actor Manoj Bajpayee is amongst the several Bollywood celebrities who tested positive for COVID-19 in 2021. The actor and his wife lately tested positive for the coronavirus.
The actor is not hospitalized and is presently under home quarantine. After the announcement about his COVID-19 diagnosis surfaced online, the actor’s side issued a report.
The statement mentioned that Manoj Bajpayee was infected with the lethal virus after his film director got infected. The actor was shooting for the movie Desptach when he became infected.
As of now, he is recuperating well. In an exclusive interaction with Times Now Digital, the actor talked about his COVID-19 examination. While talking about it, he stated that it had been a tough ride for him.
“It’s been a tough ride. Both I and my wife were infected. When we have a 10-year-old daughter in the same house, then the journey becomes very difficult and worrisome. When we were dealing with our sickness and illness, we had to take care of her and keep her away in another house area. But she behaved maturely,” he said.
Explaining how his daughter administered with the circumstances, he added,
“Though she is 10 years old, she behaved like a complete 18-19year old – by taking care of herself and keeping herself at a distance from us. Physically and mentally, it has been very exhausting. But now, we are at the lag end of our quarantine. And we just hope and pray that finally when the test is done, we both come negative.”
Meanwhile, on the work front, he will be seen next in Silence… Can You Hear It. Sharing the reason he preferred to do this digital film, the actor told Times Now Digital,
“The thing about Silence is that I have not been a part of a murder mystery. I was looking for some script that could interest me in doing it.
Aban Deohans, the writer and director, when she narrated the script about a year and a half back, that time I was quite excited about it and always kept on looking for some dates to give it to her. Though she had very few days to finish the film, she has gone ahead and not only successfully finished it but also made a very good film.”
